Qualification Standards

The appraisal firms meet the following conditions:

Appraisers have a current license for all the states in which the appraiser works.
Appraisers have a current resume that lists all education, appraisal experiences, and prior work experiences.
Can provide complete copies of three signed and dated sample appraisal reports with the appropriate attachments and addenda from the proceeding list:
  • Digital photographs of the subject property and comparables properties.
  • Fannie Mae Assumptions and limiting conditions form signed and dated by the appraiser.
  • Copies of maps that show the locations of the subject property and comparable properties.
  • Floor plan sketches with the complete dimensions and gross living area calculations of subject.
    Can provide three letters of references from clients familiar with the appraiser’s work.
    Will be able to provide a complete list of comparable data sources utilized in an appraisal.
    Has a source of verification of public sales data.
    Can provide support for the value estimate of each sample report through other necessary exhibits and attachments.
